I created videos, web content, online media, print collateral and other various digital and integrated MISC media elements for Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst.
In collaboration with our industry and academic partners, the Catalyst developed high-quality digital resources equipped with conversation starters, activities and suggested definitions to help guide parents/guardians, educators and youth comprehend new content. Throughout each resource, we provided definitions in each resource, relative to the theme and content being covered, to help parents/guardians, educators and the youth themselves understand the information. In addition, each overarching theme was carefully selected and adapted for different age groups, including grades K-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-12.
Our resources cover six critical themes:
Cyber Respect & Online Kindness (Cyberbullying)
Safe Communication Online
Privacy Online: Passcodes
Safety Online: Understanding Online Risks
Information Verification: Truth OnlineDigital Footprint: A Positive Digital Image
The Catalyst recognized the need for collaboration between the cybersecurity community, academia, and educational partners to help young Canadians build their cybersecurity awareness. The goal is to support youth in their journey to build cybersecurity literacy while sparking their interest in the constantly evolving field of cybersecurity as a potential career pathway.
